Alexis Bovell is a Real Estate Finance Associate at Tucker Ellis LLP in Cleveland, Ohio. In her role, she advises financial lending institutions, real estate owners, and developers on a wide range of real estate finance transactions. Her practice includes structuring and negotiating complex financing deals, drawing on a comprehensive understanding of both lender and borrower perspectives.

In addition to her real estate finance work, Alexis brings experience in representing private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, and both public and privately held businesses in transactional matters. Her background spans mergers and acquisitions, equity financing, commercial contracts, and general corporate governance across various industries.

Alexis earned her Juris Doctorate magna cum laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University, where she served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and was an award-winning member of the Thurgood Marshall Moot Court Team. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from the University of Dayton, with a concentration in Peace and Global Security and minors in Political Science, Human Rights Studies, and Spanish. She also completed intensive Spanish language study in Guatemala through El Instituto Central Americano.
