Cassie is a lifelong resident of Durango, CO and grew up in the beautiful surroundings of Falls Creek Ranch, where she enjoyed the lake and mountain activities. She has a deep affection for the area and its limitless possibilities for outdoor pursuits. Cassie completed her education at Durango High School and later attended Fort Lewis College, where she was awarded a scholarship for her exceptional leadership qualities. Following her college years, Cassie embarked on a career that combined her interests in business and nutrition. She served as an Operations Manager for a local nutraceutical company before transitioning into the field of leadership development after starting her family. For the next decade, Cassie honed her skills in corporate leadership development, consulting, and training. She worked out of the San Francisco office of Korn/Ferry International, a renowned global firm. In her role, Cassie specialized in Program Management for customized Leadership Development Programs, Diversity and Inclusion initiatives, Executive Coaching, and Communication Courses. Additionally, she served as a Mentor, Systems Specialist, and Trainer. Cassie's passion for real estate, her community, and her genuine care for people led her to join The Wells Group. She saw this as an opportunity to combine her love for the local area with her desire to help others in their real estate endeavors. Cassie's commitment to her community extends beyond her professional life. She has been actively involved with Durango Young Life, a local youth international non-profit program, for many years. Her journey with Young Life began as a student and quickly evolved into a volunteer leadership role. It was during this time that she met her husband Nate, and together they continued to volunteer throughout their college years at Fort Lewis. Cassie now serves as the Area Director for Young Life, providing guidance and leadership to middle and high-school students, leaders, and the local committee. Her involvement with Young Life spans over two decades, with her assuming the role of Area Director in 2009. In addition to her work with Young Life, Cassie volunteers as a team mom for Durango Youth Baseball and dedicates many evenings to supporting the Durango YAFL family on the football field. She also serves on the Park Elementary PTO. Cassie and Nate are proud parents to two children, Malakai and Cruz. The Baier family cherishes their time spent enjoying the lake life around Durango, whether it be wake surfing behind a boat or exploring the mountains through hiking, snowboarding, and camping. Cassie's dedication to her community, adherence to core values, extensive knowledge of the local area and market, and her professional experience in corporate settings have all contributed to her success. She finds great joy in meeting new people and assisting them in becoming part of this wonderful community. Cassie's deep-rooted connection to Durango, her passion for helping others, and her commitment to making a difference are the driving forces behind her achievements.
