He began as a sales engineer in the B2B manufacturing sector and later served as an operating partner and general manager for multiple large-scale sports facilities, including the Ice Training Center in Richardson and The Sportsplex in Dallas. In recent years, his work has increasingly focused on supporting social enterprises, particularly those serving adults with autism, where he applies his experience as an owner’s representative and community engagement specialist.

Born in Richardson and raised in Houston, Jim is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management. He and his wife, Marita, raised their three children in Richardson, further strengthening his ties to the community he serves.
