Melissa Krudwig, known as the Bear of Real Estate, is a Realtor with Atlanta Communities. Since 2007, Melissa has been an active Realtor serving the North Metro Atlanta area. Originally from Wilson, NC, Melissa has been a resident of Georgia for two decades. She completed her education and obtained her Army commission at North Georgia Military College in 1992. Melissa's professional background includes serving as a Commissioned Officer in the Air Defense Corps, with deployments in the Persian Gulf and other locations. Following her military career, she transitioned to a role as a Quality Assurance Engineer at Raytheon Corporation. In her leisure time, Melissa finds fulfillment in volunteering with local Military units, writing, marksmanship, participating in karaoke, camping, reading, and cherishing moments with her husband, John, and their sons, Jack and Seth. Melissa has received numerous awards including #7 Top Small Sales Team, Phoenix Award - Multi Million Dollar Producer, Crystal Phoenix Award, and #1 Sales Team at KWSP. She is a member of the GAR (Georgia Association of Realtors) and NAR (National Association of Realtors). Melissa is also a volunteer at the University of North Georgia Corps Advisory Council, where she attended college. She holds a degree from the University of North Georgia. She has demonstrated her leadership skills by heading a team in the Metro Atlanta area. As a veteran, Melissa is passionate about giving back to her community through various forms of volunteer work.
